Sebastian's Food Review

Class name: Medium Woof Woofs

Restaurant Name: Serai
Location: Chicago, IL
Hours of Operation: Tuesday - Thursday: 3:00pm - 10:30pm Friday: 3:00pm - 11:00pm Saturday: 11:00am - 11:00pm Sunday: 11:00am - 10:00pm

A variety of options, ranging from simple orange chicken and pork dumplings or wonton soup to 3 chili chicken, coconut fried rice, and mango chicken. The orange chicken and pork dumplings both had a great taste on the tongue. The orange chicken was sweet yet salty and when you bit into it it was soft but yet had a bit of crunch on the exterior with tons of flavor. The pork dumplings had a soft and tender filling with loads of flavor that popped out of your mouth and crispy outside skin with a delicate inside.

The takeout is quite efficient, you put in your order and they’ll tell you an approximate waiting time, when you drive there and get to the restaurant to pick up your food there’s only a 1-5 minute wait. The people who work there are extremely nice, they ask you what you want and they’re patient if you take a while to choose. They’re attentive to what you asked for in terms of spice, size, etc. While this restaurant is not perfect, it has all the flavors and variety for almost everyone and everything is orderly and exact. The service is consistently good regardless if it’s takeout or dining in.
